MAS Olympics Updates

The following are important changes to be implemented for this year's Olympics. All of these rules are strictly enforced 

02/10/2006:

  • Registration for the Boys' Pro Division has been closed for both sports
  •  

    02/02/2006:

  • Each coach and / or captain of each team will be responsible for EVERY SINGLE PERSON on their teams. Fighting, taunting, cursing, smoking, drinking, etc. will not be tolerated. Violators might cause their whole team to be expelled from tournament. No refunds will be given
  •  
  • Metal cleats are not allowed

  • Additions or any changes to a team roster will not be accepted after March 1st, 2006. No last day or the day of the tournament additions or switching teams. A player that is not on a team roster, will not be allowed to play for that team both days of the Olympics
  •  

    01/08/2006:

  • All players / participants must be members or associated with an organization that is affiliated and / or approved by MAS-Tampa officials, but will allow a maximum of only one player per team as an exception to this rule


  • First Come First Serve. Please see tournament rules for more details on the maximum number of teams allowed per age group.


  • A clear and legible photocopy of a picture ID which shows the name and birthdate of each player must be submitted with the registration package for each team. This rule applies to all age groups including Pro division


  • Any fees, waiver forms, picture IDs will not be accepted after March 3rd, 2006.  Teams who do not submit to this rule will not be allowed to participate in the Olympics

  • Sister teams' are allowed to participate in 3 different sports that will be played during the 2 day Olympics
